We first discovered Corrie House in July 2020 on a property viewing trip to Scotland's West Coast. We had been searching for some time for a special property that we could turn into one of the West Coast's premier destinatons. The moment we first saw Corrie House, we knew it was the one, and although we subsequently viewed many other properties, nothing compared.
We purchased the house in June 2021 and opened for bookings at the end of July. The house had been run, for several years, as a 5 star B&B by the previous owners, Barry & Joan Adamson. We plan to continue to provide 5 star facilities and luxury, but more along the lines of a luxury boutique hotel, rather than a B&B. With that in mind, we now provide our guests with the option of in-house dining, alongside the excellent local restaurants and pubs. In the winter months, when some of the local restaurants are closed, we provide an extensive menu of freshly cooked meals, with a more limited menu in the summer months.
